Dropover Cloud Terms and Conditions
By using the Dropover Cloud feature, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Your Responsibility
When you upload content to Dropover Cloud, you are solely responsible for its legality and appropriateness. The following types of content are strictly prohibited:
- Illegal content, including copyrighted material you do not have rights to share
- Pornographic or explicit material
- Content promoting violence, discrimination, or illegal activity
- Hate speech or content targeting individuals or groups
2. Content Removal
Dropover reserves the right to remove any uploaded content at any time, without notice, if it violates these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
3. Public Access to Content
Uploaded content is not listed or published, but can be accessed by anyone who has the public link. Therefore:
- Only share links with people you trust.
- Do not upload private or sensitive information you wish to keep confidential.
- Dropover is not liable for any misuse of public links.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Files uploaded to Dropover Cloud are retained until you delete them or they expire. You can delete content at any time via the Dropover app. We reserve the right to delete content at our discretion, including in cases of abuse or prolonged inactivity.
5. Privacy and Security
We respect your privacy. Dropover Cloud does not require personal information to use. However, for operational and abuse-prevention purposes, we may store the following:
- A non-identifiable instance identifier (stored indefinitely to manage file upload allowance)
- The IP address used during upload (retained as long as the file exists)
- File metadata (e.g., file type and size)
Data is transmitted securely using SSL (HTTPS). However, files are not encrypted at rest. We recommend that users do not upload sensitive content without additional protection, such as encryption.
6. Limitation of Liability
Dropover Cloud is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any loss, unauthorized access, or damage resulting from the use of this service.
7. User Conduct and Abuse Reporting
You must use Dropover Cloud in compliance with applicable laws and respect the rights of others. If you encounter content that violates these terms, please use the "Report" button on the Dropover Cloud page to notify us. We will review and take action where appropriate.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. All legal actions shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the Netherlands.
9. Modification of Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Dropover Cloud or these terms at any time without notice.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By using Dropover Cloud, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
11. Reporting Infringing or Abusive Content
If you believe that content uploaded to Dropover Cloud violates your rights or these terms (e.g., copyright infringement, illegal content, abuse), you may report it using the "Report" button on the Dropover Cloud page or by contacting us directly at hello@dropoverapp.com.
We review all reports and may remove or disable access to the reported content at our discretion. If you are submitting a copyright complaint, please include sufficient details to identify the copyrighted work and the infringing content, along with your contact information and a statement of good faith.
